Moldovan farmers can receive $10,000 grants for infrastructure development

Chisinau, Nov. 5 /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA) announces grants of up to 10 thousand dollars for Moldovan farmers for infrastructure development. Applications can be submitted by 31 December 2024.

"We announce the last call for applications for the Sustainable Land Management Grant Program, implemented by Moldova Agriculture Competitiveness Project. Farmers can apply between November 4 and December 31, 2024 to get up to USD 10,000 for: machinery and equipment for No-Till and Strip-Till technologies; soil protection and improvement measures; modern irrigation systems," MAIA said.

Moldova Agriculture Competitiveness Project was launched in 2012. The main objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness of Moldova's agri-food sector by supporting the modernization of the food safety management system, providing farmers with financial resources for infrastructure development.
