About 60 companies attend Moldova Presents exhibition in Iasi

Chisinau, Nov 9 /MOLDPRES/- Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of the Republic of Moldova officially opened yesterday the 6th edition of Moldova Presents exhibition in Iasi, Romania, a unique platform where traditions meet new trends in the economy of our country. With around 60 participating companies, the exhibition brings together producers and service providers from all regions of Moldova, covering various sectors, from handicrafts, food and textile to furniture and construction companies.
The structure of the exhibition is multiramural and thematic, occupying a total area of 600 square meters (net), of which 350 square meters are dedicated to the open area. The official opening ceremony of the exhibition included an artistic program of artistic collectives from the Republic of Moldova.
According to CCI head Sergiu Harea, this edition like the previous ones brings together the authentic Moldovan spirit and modern innovation, facilitating essential links between entrepreneurs and consumers. "We are proud to support Moldovan companies and give them a platform to assert themselves on the Romanian market. We invite all those interested to discover what the Republic of Moldova has to offer and to be part of these new economic collaborations", said Harea.
The opening of the exhibition was honored by Costel Alexe, President of Iasi County Council, Paul Butnariu, President of Iasi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ion Coșer, Consul General of the Republic of Moldova in Iasi and Ionel Constantin, President of Vaslui Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, who expressed the support for the cross-border project dedicated to the promotion of Moldovan business on the Romanian market.
The exhibition started in 2016 and has brought over 380 Moldovan companies to Iasi in six years of operation, generating new partnerships and opening new export opportunities. Over the years, the exhibitors have presented various products of the food industry, wines, clothing, jewelry, cosmetics and many others, strengthening bilateral trade relations between Romania and the Republic of Moldova. CCI expresses gratitude to all the partners and participants of the event and invites all those interested in Moldovan products to visit the exhibition from November 08 to 10, between 10.00 and 22:00.
