Moldova's Superior Council of Magistracy appoints judges at Courts of Appeal from Balti, Chisinau

Chisinau, 13 November /MOLDPRES/ - The members of the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) today appointed judges at the Courts of Appeal from Balti and Chisinau.
According to CSM, the appointments took place following a contest. Thus the following judges were declared winners at the Chisinau Court of Appeal: Andrei Cașcaval, Lucia Bagrin, Vitalie Budeci, Constantin Roșca, Sergiu Dimitriu, Vitalie Pîslariuc, Eleonora Badan-Melnic, Grigore Manoli, Roman Pascari, Gheorghe Stratulat, and at the Balti-based Court of Appeal - Ivan Parii and Stanislav Grosu.
Also, the CSM members will put forward three judges for appointment: Vitalie Pîslariuc, Lucia Bargin and Stanislav Grosu, after they passed the external evaluation.
CSM informed that 19 out of those 57 positions from the Chisinau Court of Appeal of judge were occupied. One judge is suspended and 38 offices are vacant. At the Balti Court of Appeal, 17 out of those 24 positions of judge are occupied and seven offices are vacant.
