Moldovan, Luxembourg deputy PMs discuss priorities of Moldova's European agenda

Chisinau, 14 November /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov today had a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel. The officials discussed the progress made by Moldova in the last year and the priorities on the European agenda for the next period.
The Moldovan deputy PM thanked the Luxembourg authorities for the support provided to the country’s European integration way.
„The close cooperation with the European Union states helps us consolidate the state’s institutions, improve the living of Moldova’s citizens and get the country closer to the European standards,’’ Cristina Gherasimov said.
In the context, the deputy PM for European integration congratulated the authorities of Luxembourg on the taking over of the rotating presidency of the Council of Europe’s Committee of Ministers for the next six months.
On 13-14 November, Deputy PM Cristina Gherasimov pays a visit to Luxembourg, where a meeting on bilateral screening of Moldova with the European Commission for the chapter 18 – Statistics – is held.
