New director appointed at E-Governance Agency

Chisinau, Nov 15 /MOLDPRES/- Electronic Governance Agency (EGA) has a new director. Nicoleta Colomeeț, who will replace Andrei Prisacar at the head of the institution, will take over the post. Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Dumitru Alaiba made the statement today.
Nicoleta Colomeeț is Product Marketing Manager certified by the International Association of Product Management and Marketing, certified in Digital Transformation, Design Thinking, and has a degree in law.
Dumitru Alaiba said that Nicoleta Colomeeț is a leader in product marketing and design operations, with almost 10 years of active experience working with local and international start-ups in FinTech, Legal Tech and creative industries. She was part of the team that launched Paynet in Moldova, guided product design and helped conceptualize solutions for private people and businesses. She contributed and launched international solutions for card issuance and instant transfers, cross-border payment management, remote notary signatures, HR solutions, as well as tools for the creative industry.
"Nicoleta Colomeeț comes with a clear mandate and goal - to modernize the institution and increase the adoption rate of digital public services. She is a promoter of development focused on the real needs of citizens, convinced that a successful digital service is one that combines advanced technology with an intuitive and accessible experience. As digital transformation is an essential component of modern state development, it is vital to have a leader who understands the impact of digital transformation on every citizen. We have a clear vision: to provide citizens and entrepreneurs with services of the highest quality. We have more work to do here," said Alaiba.
From 2011 to date, the E-Governance Agency has produced over 100 e-governance products in more than 20 e-transformation and modernization initiatives of public administrative services, building a platform for modernization of public services and other innovations in governance. The beneficiaries of the e-Transformation products are citizens and visitors of the Republic of Moldova, the business environment and public institutions.
