Chisinau, 20 November /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova is not alone facing the hybrid attacks; the country has with it such partners as Romania and the United Kingdom. In the context, the Romanian official stressed that the positive steps registered by the Moldovan authorities on the last period in the European integration process ‘’will represent a catalyst for the future progress.’’
„The European Union’s commitment is doubled today also by the substantial support of important partners, such as the United Kingdom. We had profound discussions on how to respond to attack against the democracy. The progress made by Moldova on the European way is obvious, substantial and appreciated. Our goal is to support Moldova’s citizens, so that the living conditions should be improved. The projects are carried out in the interest of the citizens. They will continue. As for the consolidation of Moldova’s resilience, the cooperation with the Moldovan authorities is complex. We are and we will stay with Moldova, based on the strategic bilateral partnership and of the community of language, history and culture which connects us. The scope and diversity of the attacks, the virulence of the hostile and illegal actions, which regarded the affecting of the electoral climate in Moldova, was really unprecedented. The Chisinau authorities proved determination, courage and efficiency in the counteraction of the interferences from abroad. I convey our appreciation also for Moldova’s citizens, as they proved maturity and capacity to discern between the phase elections and the ones with decisive value for the future,’’ Luminita Odobescu said.
