Chisinau, Nov 25 /MOLDPRES/- Moldova's ruling Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) is ready to cooperate with all parties that aim at European integration of the country. PAS leader, speaker Igor Grosu made the statement on TVR Moldova.

The official said that after the victory in the referendum and the presidential elections, the parliamentary elections are to follow, which should reconfirm and maintain Moldova's European integration path. "When I speak of victory I do not only mean PAS. I would like all pro-European parties to get involved in this whole process," Grosu said.

Grosu also gave details of President Maia Sandu's meeting with representatives of pro-European parties. He said that at that meeting they discussed the amendment of the Electoral Code, party financing, removing shortcomings in order to conduct a fair campaign and elections. "Let's do everything so that in the next elections, together with these parties, we can get a better score to form a parliamentary majority and have this corridor of several years, a period in which you can move forward. This is one objective," he said.

Another objective, which is equally important is to move forward on the path of European integration: "We have to prepare our teams for the negotiation process, adjust the legislation, open the first chapter. Poland will take over the rotating presidency of the EU. In the next half a year, we will have the full support of the EPP," Grosu explained.

At the same time, Grosu noted that it is important for the Republic of Moldova to have a pro-European government in Romania, which will continue to support the Republic of Moldova on the EU accession.
