Another applicant for judge of Supreme Court of Justice rejected by Vetting Commission

Chisinau, Nov. 28 /MOLDPRES/- Vetting Commission (Judges Evaluation Commission) has finalized the evaluation of Vladimir Adam, candidate for the post of Supreme Court of Justice judge. According to the report, the candidate Vladimir Adam does not meet the integrity criteria and does not pass the external evaluation, according to Law 65/2023. The conclusion is contained in the evaluation report sent to the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) for examination.

The CSM will analyze the details of the evaluation on the basis of the received file and adopt a reasoned decision accepting or rejecting the report of the Judges Evaluation Commission. The report shall be published on the Commission's website within 3 days from the adoption of a decision by the CSM, according to Art. 16 (5) of Law 65/2023 and the Commission's Regulation on Organization and Functioning.

The evaluation of Vladimir Adam was based on the criteria of financial and ethical integrity provided for by Law 65/2023 on the external evaluation of judges and candidates for the position of judge of the Supreme Court of Justice. His hearing took place on September 17, 2024.
