Chisinau, 28 November /MOLDPRES/ - A weekly meeting of the Joint Control Commission (JCC) was held in Bender today.
According to the Bureau for Reintegration, the discussions were focused on the report on the situation in the Security Zone for seven previous days. The report was not managed to be signed at the level of the Joint Military Command. The reason for the non-signing was the refusal by the representatives of the Transnistrian region, backed by the ones of Russia, to include in the report the information on the unilateral actions of the structures subordinated to Tiraspol, aimed at strengthening the infrastructure of the illegal post in the Bacioc settlement, in the immediate neighbourhood of the bridge across the Dniester river.
In this way, Tiraspol is set to boost the presence of its power wielding structures in the Security Zone and to foster the abusive controls over the transport means and the citizens who cross the bridge.
The Moldovan Delegation said that such actions had been initiated by the Transnistrian power wielding structures ever since the opening of this road following a costly rehabilitation carried out with the support of foreign partners.
As a result of the ignoring by Tiraspol of the principles of the current peacekeeping mission, the free movement on the bridge connecting the settlements Gura Bacului and Bacioc is seriously affected.
The delegations took no consensus-based decision on the concerned issue and the discussions will continue.
