Moldovan president meets charge d'affairs of United States in Moldova

Chisinau, 28 November /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today had a meeting with Charge d’affairs of the United States in Moldova Daniela DiPierro. The officials discussed the consolidation of the bilateral relations between the two countries, the presidential press service has reported.  

Also, at the meeting, the Moldovan head of state emphasized the constant support of the United States for Moldova, including in the fields of energy security, economic development and security sector, as well as the cooperation in the field of combating the hybrid threats.

President Maia Sandu expressed gratitude for the active contribution of the United States in the process of Moldova’s modernization and the wish to advance to a deeper strategic partnership. The meeting highlighted the importance of the continuity of the American support, including within the transition to the new administration from the USA.
