Prime Minister invited Romanian and German businessmen to invest in Moldova

Chisinau, Nov. 29 /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Dorin Recean has invited businessmen from Romania and Germany to invest in Moldova and expand their activities in order to develop advantageous projects in the country. It was made at a meeting of members of the Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the government's communication department has reported.
The official noted that on the way to joining the European Union, the country is becoming an even more attractive destination for investors, emphasizing that ensuring stability and predictability for businessmen remains a priority on the government agenda.
According to the Prime Minister, the Republic of Moldova has a valuable resource - talented people who support the development and innovation in various fields such as viticulture, information technologies, digital entertainment, electronics, pharmaceuticals and energy. At the same time, through dual vocational education programs inspired by the German model, future professionals are well prepared to contribute to economic growth and attract new investment.
"Our country has huge potential for development: we have talent, innovation and a favorable environment for long-term growth. We will do everything necessary for you to feel comfortable and invest here in Moldova," said Recean.
The event, which brought together Romanian and German companies interested in the Moldovan market, was organized by the Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the support of the German Agency for International Cooperation and the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development. Participants discussed the potential of the Republic of Moldova as a business destination, development trends and prospects for cooperation.
The Romanian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry was set up in 2002 and has over 650 member companies.
