Moldova Agricultural Competitiveness Project announced this year's last call for land management grants

Chisinau, Nov 29 /MOLDPRES/- Moldova Agricultural Competitiveness Project (MAC-P) announces the launch of the final call for applications under the Post-Investment Grant Program for Sustainable Land Management (SLM). The deadline for application is December 31, 2024.

The grants are awarded for compensating the costs of agricultural machinery, equipment or machines intended for conservative tillage technologies (No-Till / Strip-Till); compensating the costs of implementing soil protection and improvement measures (sustainable land management practices), as well as for compensating the costs of irrigation equipment and systems.

The project was launched in 2012. The main objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness of Moldova's agri-food sector by supporting the modernization of the food safety management system, providing farmers with financial resources for infrastructure development.
