Moldova to take over from Montenegro's experience in process of accession to European Union

Chisinau, 29 November /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova will take over from Montenegro’s experience in the process of accession to the European Union. Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Cristina Gherasimov today had a meeting with the chief negotiator for Montenegro’s accession to EU, Predrag Zenovic.
The official is on a visit to Chisinau, to participate in the third Forum of Chef Negotiators, organized by the European Commission. Gherasimov noted that Montenegro had made significant progress on the way of accession to EU. ‘’Montenegro made the greatest progress in the European integration process, out of all states candidates and we have much to learn from the experience of the authorities and citizens of this country,’’ Cristina Gherasimov said.
The discussions were focused on the bilateral cooperation and the exchange of good practices in the European integration process. Cristina Gherasimov and Predrag Zenovic agreed on the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the European Integration Bureau and the counterpart institution from Podgorica.
