Weather to warm in Moldova on next seven days

Chisinau, 16 December /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydro-meteorological Service has forecast a maximal air temperature of up to +10 Celsius degrees during day-time for 17 – 23 December.

According to meteorologists, light precipitation was forecast for 19 – 22 December. No precipitation is expected on the rest of the period.

Fog is to occur in the first half of the period. At night, roads are to be covered with glazed frost in some regions. The wind is blow mainly from the southeast, weak to moderate.

The minimal night-time air temperature is to stand at about 0 degrees Celsius on the above seven days. The day-time air temperature will oscillate between +3 - +10 degrees.

According to the State Hydro-meteorological Service's multi-annual data /1886-2013/, on this period, the highest air temperature in Chisinau was +14.6 degrees Celsius on 17 December 1989 and the lowest - 18.6 degrees below zero on 17 December 1997.
