Warm weather forecast in Moldova for next seven days

Chisinau, 13 January /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydro-meteorological Service has forecast a maximal air temperature of +8 Celsius degrees during the day for 14-20 January.

No essential precipitation was forecast for the first half of the period, with only light snow expected in the second half in some regions. Fog is expected in places. At night, the roads will be covered with glazed frost.

The night-time air temperature will oscillate between -1 and -7 degrees on 14-17 January, and around 0 degrees on 18-19-20 January.

During the day, the air temperature will fluctuate between +2 - +8 degrees.

According to State Hydro-meteorological Service's multi-annual data /1886-2014/ on this period, the highest air temperature in Chisinau was +12.1 degrees Celsius on 13 January 1998 and the lowest -23 degrees Celsius on 13 January 1943.
