Chisinau, 13 January /MOLDPRES/ - The Party of Communists (PCRM) has accepted an invitation by the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) and Democratic Party (PDM) to start a dialogue on creating a parliamentary majority. The first meeting took place today. PCRM executive secretary Artur Resetnicov confirmed the information.
Resetnicov said that, during the talks, PCRM would not forward conditions, but only would voice its visions on certain issues. „We will express our visions, which are known. We are concerned about the fact that society is divided and believe that politicians’ duty is to give an example to consolidate society, by strengthening the state’s independence, sovereignty and neutrality,” Resetnicov.
The MP also added that PCRM would not start the dialogue with PLDM and PDM „with distribution or demanding posts”. „PCRM is ready for dialogue, for setting up the government as quickly as possible,” Resetnicov said.
On 12 January evening, after a new round of talks between PLDM, PDM and Liberal Party, the leaders of the Liberal Democrats and Democrats said the format of negotiations should be enlarged, by inviting to discussions PCRM representatives too.
