Moldovan police registers more complaints on violation of voting process

Chisinau, 14 June /MOLDPRES/ - A number of thirteen complaints with regard to violations of the voting process were recorded by the Inspectorate-General of Police of Moldova (IGP) between 00:00 and 12:00 on 14 June.
Interviewed by the agency, the head of IGP’s media relations, Tamara Procopii, said that of the total number of complaints, six were not true, and the rest would be investigated.
According to her, the police received information according to which cars were circulating in the Ialoveni district, carrying out electoral propaganda and organised buses were transporting people to vote.
"In the district of Rezina the case of a man photographing the ballot paper was registered, and in Criuleni another man was caught filming the polling station," said Procopii.
These as well as other cases will be investigated by the police to determine their accuracy.
The police registered 264 complaints on the violation of the election campaign and the day of silence between 8 and 13 June 2015.
