New composition of executive of Gagauzia approved

Chisinau, 12 September /MOLDPRES/- The new composition of the executive committee of Gagauzia was approved by the People's Autonomy Assembly (APG), in the 11 September meeting. Comrat administration members took the oath after which they started their activity.
The list of new members of the executive was presented by Gagauz Governor Irina Vlah on August 29. At the meeting of the People's Assembly, the governor presented each official separately, and after some questions of MPs, all candidates were voted unanimously.
Thus, instead of first deputy governor Vadim Ceban, appointed to the management of Moldovagaz company, came Anatoli Usatîi, who previously held the position of deputy minister, and the deputy governor for social issues, Olesea Tanasoglo, will hold the post in the next four years. Most of Comrat's executive members have been updated in positions. New heads of departments were appointed in areas of economic development, industry and agriculture, construction, education, police. Ceadir-Lunga district has a new head. Newly elected executive members took oath in Gagauz, Romanian and Russian languages, in the presence of governor Irina Vlah, APG head Vladimir Cissa and some MPs.
According to Irina Vlah, the new members of the executive have to carry out major projects. “I want to warn you that you have to work without days off and holidays. In the next four years, we have a lot to do, because we have to justify the confidence of citizens and representatives,” the governor said, quoted by gagauzinfo.md.
The executive of Gagauzia includes 16 heads of departments, chairpersons of the districts of Comrat, Ceadâr-Lunga and Vulcăneşti, director of the Investment Attraction Agency and director of the Scientific Research Center M.Marunevici.
The appointment of the new executive is stipulated by the law, after the elections of governor take place in the autonomy.
