Moldovan president visits USA

Chisinau, 23 September /MOLDPRES/- President Igor Dodon pays a working visit to the USA, which will include many events in New York, the presiential press service has reported.

The key event is the speech that the head of state will deliver at the rostrum of the UN General Assembly. Dodon will approach problems and achievements of the Republic of Moldova, particularities of domestic and foreign policy, prospects for the settlement of the Transnistrian conflict and many others.

Also, the president will have bilateral meetings with many leaders from abroad and representatives of American leadership, with influential Jewish organizations and business circles.

"I consider this visit as one of the most important this year in terms of promoting a balanced foreign policy," said Igor Dodon.
