Moldova's Chamber of Commerce and Industry to promote work of entrepreneurs from Chisinau

Chisinau, 13 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova (CCI) will promote the work of entrepreneurs from Chisinau.  

The Chisinau city hall and CCI today signed a cooperation agreement for the promotion and development of entrepreneurs from the Moldovan capital. Under this accord, the economic and legal conditions will be improved for the work of the business environment, in order to stimulate the municipality’s economic development and an efficient system of public-private partnership will be created, in order to enhance the degree of Chisinau’s investment attraction.

The Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, said that this initiative was meant to support the Moldovan entrepreneurs and was aimed at creating new jobs. ”Almost 65 per cent of the economic agents registered in Moldova work in the area of the Chisinau city; the joint initiative is meant to promote the native producers and the services provided by them,” Ceban said.

President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergiu Harea said that CCI’s agenda would be adjusted to the requirements of the local business. “We have possibility to organize trainings for the civil servants of the local authority, so that they are able to create a friendly investment climate,” Harea noted.  

Statistics data shows that more than 500 economic agents from Chisinau are members of Moldova’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
