Moldova, Czech Republic to sign memorandum on social security

Chisinau, 4 March /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet members today approved the initiation of negotiations on a draft memorandum on cooperation in the social security sector between Moldova’s National Social Insurances House (CNAS) and the Czech Social Security Administration.
The memorandum’s first goal is the development of bilateral relations in the social security field, contributing to the establishment of cooperation relations friendly to the institutions from this sector and implicitly, to the citizens.
Presently, CNAS enforces five agreements on the guaranteeing of the rights of citizens in the field of provision with pensions, based on the principle of territoriality, with Ukraine, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Russia.
At the same time, the National Social Insurances House enforces 12 social security agreements, based on European principles, with Bulgaria, Portugal, Romania, Luxembourg, Austria, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, Germany.
