Moldovan PM participates in online meeting with heads of governments of Eurasian Economic Union

Chisinau, 10 April /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Ion Chicu today participated in an online meeting with the heads of the governments of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

Moldova has status of observer within EEU.

The PMs informed each other about the evolution of the epidemiological situation in each state and exchanged opinions on the measures undertaken to combat the spread of the COVID-19 infection.

Prime Minister Chicu informed the colleagues about the fact that, in the last five days, the number of confirmed infection cases had stabilized in Moldova. He also referred to the measures taken to manage the epidemiological situation.

The PMs exchanged opinions on measures of economic resuscitation on the post-epidemic period.
