Right to pension could be demanded also through proxy in Moldova

Chisinau, 8 July /MOLDPRES/ - The right to pension could be demanded also through proxy, not only personally, as it has been so far. The government today approved a draft on the amendment of the law on the public system of pensions, in order to facilitate the procedures of demanding the pension.  

Under the draft, the application on retirement and the necessary acts could be submitted to the territorial social insurances body from home, not only by the person who got right to pension, but also by the representative nominated by proxy.    

The draft is meant to support the people who, because of their health condition, cannot move to personally submit the application on retirement and the needed acts at the territorial social insurances body, including the people who are abroad, who cannot return to Moldova to fulfill their right to pension, given the situation emerged because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
