Compulsoriness of trade union body's agreement for dismissing trade union members excluded in Moldova

Chisinau, 30 July /MOLDPRES/ - The decree on promulgation and the law on the amendment of normative acts will be published in the 31 July issue of the Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial).  

Following amendments made to the legislation, the right of veto of the trade union bodies in the procedure of dismissing employees elected in trade union bodies and non-dismissed from the basic job was excluded.   

Also, the document due to enter into force sees that the calling to disciplinary liability, transfer to another job or the dismissing of employees trade union members, of the employees elected members of trade union bodies and non-dismissed from the basic job or of the leaders of the primary trade union bodies non-dismissed from the basic job will be made, in continuation, with the consultation of the concerned trade union bodies. Thus, enough legal guarantees will be further preserved for them, which will ensure the protection of their rights and interests, the authors said.
