Medicines Agency got two applications for registration of Russian vaccine Sputnik V

Chisinau, 17 February /MOLDPRES/- The Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (AMDM) announced it has got two cases from economic agents, proposing the registration of the anti-COVID vaccine (Sputnik V) solution for injection.
According to AMDM, the institution is currently in the process of authorizing COVID-19 vaccines made by Pfizer-BioNTech, AstraZeneca and Moderna, which are included in the COVAX program.
"Following the evaluation of the cases, AMDM will ensure that the efficiency, harmlessness and quality of vaccines authorized in Moldova are in full compliance with those proposed for use worldwide," the press release reads.
AMDM also said that based on the collaboration agreement with the World Health Organization (WHO), the agency's specialists have access to all information on the efficacy, safety and quality of vaccines included in the approved The emergency use listing (EUL).
