Association of creative industries to be set up on left bank of Dniester

Chisinau, 17 February /MOLDPRES/- The Creation Companies Association of Moldova (COR), the Center for Creative Industries Artcor and the Agency for Innovation and Development in Tiraspol will develop an association that will unite in a single entity providers in creative industries on the left bank of the Dniester. The initiative will be carried out under the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) project Development of export potential on the banks of the Dniester (AdTrade), conducted with the financial support of Sweden.
The initiative aims at developing creative industries, increasing their export potential through specialized training and consultancy provided by COR experts and help enterprises in creative industries on both banks of the Dniester to overcome the consequences of the pandemic crisis.
"We will start with the mapping of creative enterprises. As an important aspect of this collaboration is to increase the export potential, a business school will be organized under this initiative of the UNDP / AdTrade project to provide methodological and practical assistance to creative enterprises, especially those with export potential ", Artcor Creative Industries Hub director Viorica Cerbușca said.
To ensure continuity of the initiative, ten companies in export-oriented creative fields will follow a mentoring program. Association members will also benefit from marketing and digitalization assistance for the business.
The initiative with the financial assistance of Sweden in the UNDP / AdTrade also provides for developing the visual identity of the newly created association. In this context, an open competition will be launched where the creative community on both banks of the Dniester can participate. Winner will get a cash prize worth five hundred dollars.
The initiative will be implemented over 11 months and will end with an online fair, which will bring together creative enterprises on both banks of the Dniester.
