Saline open with EU support operates in Rezina

Chisinau, 17 February /MOLDPRES/- Saline therapy services became available to residents of Rezina district, once the launch of a business financially supported by the European Union. The success of the project was discussed yesterday during a information campaign EU for Rural Moldova.
Entrepreneur Irina Bordian entered the business world in 2018, after she got the idea to set up a small saline at home. Later, study visits followed to more saline abroad, where she researched the benefits of the business, then she decided to offer a treatment space for local residents.
She managed to get a grant worth 139 thousand lei under the program of the Organization for Small and Medium Enterprises (ODIMM) Women in Business. It was launched in 2016, financed from the state budget and co-financed by European Union funds through the project Support for SMEs in rural areas.
"Without experience, I studied the field a lot, I made a business plan, I submitted it and then I found out the positive result. Today, we have a growing business," says Bordian.
Over two hundred people have so far benefited from the saline treatment services in Rezina.
One of the priorities of EU support for Moldova in rural areas is the development of successful rural entrepreneurship, by supporting the SME sector and creating jobs in rural areas. Through this project, funded by the European Union and the state budget, implemented by ODIMM, support is provided for the development of small businesses, especially in rural areas.
