Moldova's local authorities might increase sum of salary growths from own incomes

Chisinau, 17 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Local Public Administration Authorities (APL) might get the right to increase, from their own incomes, the sum of salary growths up to 100 per cent of the annual wages fund. The parliament’s commission for social protection, health and family approved a draft law to this effect today.    

Under the draft, the APL leadership will be empowered to establish increases, bonuses, material assistance from their own incomes, as well as to increase the sum of bonuses up to 30 per cent of the annual wages fund.  

At the same time, the conditions of holding offices within the local public administration authorities might be established by local councils, depending on the needs and possibilities of employment.   

The draft is to be discussed at the parliament’s plenary meeting.
