Chisinau, 18 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall will appeal to the parliament and government, to create a wide platform of discussions for the negotiation and procurement of buses necessary for the municipal public transport.

At a today’s news conference, the Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, said that he would ask to create a wider platform for the purchasing of the buses needed for the public transport.

”There is money for buying the buses; all procedures have been observed and carried out; we have four bids on behalf of four companies and there are no buses. The responsibility for the non-providing of a sufficient number of buses in the municipal passenger transport is collective,’’ Ceban said.

The mayor stressed that the increase in the number of vehicles in the municipal public transport was the biggest problem of the Chisinau municipality and that this problem must be solved urgently.
