Street from Moldovan capital's centre to be reopened for traffic

Chisinau, 22 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau municipal authorities this week will reopen the road traffic on the Maria Cebotari Street from the capital’s centre.  

According to information unveiled by the Chisinau public administration, the works for the reopening of the road traffic on this road segment have been finished; the segments posing danger for the traffic were asphalted in late last week, after works of changing utilities had been carried out in the area.  

At present, the municipal authorities coordinate with the police the scheme of the traffic and the road signs are prepared, due to be set in the zone. After more discussions, the authorities ruled that the movement on the Maria Cebotari Street would be in one direction - from the Stefan cel Mare Boulevard to the 31 August 1989 Street.   

The praetor’s office of the Centru district on the days to come will disassemble and evacuate the barrier which limits the access to this street and the checkpoint set nearby a hotel.
