As many as 21 drivers fined for drunk driving in early 2021

Chisinau, 23 February /MOLDPRES/- 21 drivers were sanctioned earlier this year, with fines of up to 25,000 lei, after driving drunk.

According to police, earlier this year, 21 road accidents occurred in the country. As a result, one person died and another 30 were injured.

Also during this period, the patrol officers fined over 1,200 people who drove without having the necessary documents. For this violation, the legislation provides a fine from 1,500 to 3,000 lei.
