Moldovan police to fine drivers of vehicles leaving mud on streets of Chisinau

Chisinau, 24 February /MOLDPRES/- Drivers who leave traces of mud in the city and site managers who do not take care to wash the wheels of heavy machinery will be fined.

Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban said today that he requested the support of the police to sanction the site managers and drivers of heavy vehicles that leave traces of mud on the streets and sidewalks of the city.

"It is inadmissible for these heavy vehicles to scatter all the bullets on the construction sites in the city. When leaving the construction site, the wheels of the cars must be washed, as well as order must be maintained around these construction sites," he said.

At the same time, the official noted that the sanction request comes after, following the warnings, the site managers did not meet the sanitation measures of the city. "I asked for the support of the police, because I saw that the warnings did not work," Ceban said.
