Moldovan writer, bibliologist celebrates 70th birth anniversary

Chisinau, 25 February /MOLDPRES/- Publicist, poet, bibliologist and publisher Dumitru Pasat, winner of some literary awards, turned 70 today.
He was born on 25 February 1951 in Bolșaia Sia, Turaceak District, Altai Region, Siberia.
He worked as a senior editor, head of methodological and bibliographic editions, head of the specialized library of the Police Academy Stefan cel Mare, head of the Office of Studies and Research at the International Academic Center Mihai Eminescu. He is currently the editor-in-chief of Pro-lyceum magazine.
He is a member of the Writers' Union of Moldova, the Union of Journalists of Moldova, the Union of Professional Journalists of Romania, a member of the Association of Former Deportees and Political Prisoners, the Union of Creative People and the Association of Philosophers and the Association of Scientists and Culture. Founding member and president of the Public Association Cultural Society for Philology (2019). Laureate of the weekly Literature and Art for journalism, literary criticism and science (1999-2019).
He holds Diplomas of Excellence awarded by USM (2008) and the Union of Professional Journalists in Romania (2014, 2016, 2018, 2019 - To promote philosophy in journalism), the diploma of the Department of Carabineers of the Ministry of Interior (2012), the diploma of the International Book Fair , XXIII edition (2014), USM Special Prize (2019 - for the work German-Romanian philosophical interference).
