Chisinau, 25 February /MOLDPRES/- Ambassadors of EU member states today issued a joint statement rejecting the recent public attacks on EU ambassador to Moldova Peter Michalko, launched by some MPs.
"We, the ambassadors of the European Union and EU member states want to reject the recent public attacks on Ambassador Peter Michalko and other ambassadors expressed by Socialist Party and MP Ilan Shor. The Ambassadors of the EU and EU member states observe domestic developments, focusing on the compatibility of domestic laws and practices with Moldova's international commitments, including those to the EU, in accordance with their mandates and full respect for Moldova's independence and sovereignty.
