Creanga Days Festival to be held online in Moldova

Chisinau, 25 February /MOLDPRES/ - The Creanga Days Festival, the 11th issue, will be held online on 1-5 March 2021, despite the difficult conditions, marked by numerous restrictions.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, the director of the Ion Creanga National Library for Children, Eugenia Bejan, the event’s coordinator in Chisinau, said that diverse institutions from Chisinau, Orhei, Balti, Iasi, Targu-Neamt and Pipirig had joined forces to organize a programme of online events, in which pupils, teachers, researchers, writers, artists, librarians will participate.
The organizers of the 11th issue Creanga Days are the Education, Culture and Research Ministry of Moldova, Ion Creanga National Library for Children, National Section of from Moldova of the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY), Bogdan Petriceicu-Hasdeu Romanian Philology Institute, Moldovan Writers’ Union, Iasi County Council, Iasi city hall, National Museum of Romanian Literature and the Ion Creanga Hovel Museum from Iasi, as well as other culture institutions.
