As many as 1,518 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 27 February /MOLDPRES/- In the last 24 hours, 4,838 tests were processed in Moldova, confirming 1,518 cases of infection with the new coronavirus, of which seven were imported. In total, to date, 184,856 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country.

According to the data of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS), out of the total number of cases, 69 are medical workers: doctors - 25, nurses - 34, auxiliary staff - 10.

At the same time, there are 9,381 people in home treatment with mild and moderate forms of COVID-19, and 17,273 are under home supervision.

Another 601 people were treated. In total, 165,489 people were treated by COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 25 deaths caused by COVID-19, the number of deaths reaching 3924.
