Civil servants of Chisinau municipal institutions have poor activity performances

Chisinau, 1 March /MOLDPRES/ - The civil servants from the Chisinau municipality have been given low marks at the evaluation of the professional performances on the period December 2020 – February 2021.
The Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, said he was disappointed by the work of the municipal civil servants at the assessment of their performances. ‘’I was deeply disappointed by the discussions within Evaluations of civil servants as to the professional performances of the civil servants. I was taken aback – there are heads of departments, heads of sections who have no idea about what their departments are dealing with and they have been in office for years. Sixty per cent of the people evaluated will receive the mark ‘’satisfactory.’’ Most of you assessed yourselves with ‘’very good’’, but it is not at all like this. Some of them will leave their offices,’’ Ceban noted.
According to the Chisinau mayor, the bad result got by the municipal civil servants will allow him to make dismissals. ‘’We will get rid of these civil servants on the next period and the interim offices will be held by people from the subdivision till the contest is announced,’’ Ion Ceban added.
On 20-22 January 2021, the civil servants from the municipal institutions were evaluated in terms of the professional performances for the period of their work.
