Moldova's State Fiscal Service says collections to national public budget continuously increase

Chisinau, 1 March /MOLDPRES/ - The collections to the national public budget, managed by the State Fiscal Service (SFS), are continuously increasing, SFS has reported.
According to the institution, more than 6.6 billion lei was collected in the national public budget by the State Fiscal Service in the first two months of 2021.
„The concerned data shows an increase of more than 336.4 million lei or up by 5.4 per cent against the same period of the year before,’’ SFS said.
On the concerned period, 2.8 billion lei was collected in the state budget, which is by 211.8 million lei more against the same period of 2020, or up by 8.2 per cent.
At the same time, accumulations of 644 million lei were registered in the local budgets, which is by 41.1 million lei more against the same period of the last year or up by 6.8 per cent.
Also, 2.4 billion lei was collected in the state social insurances budget, which is by 59 million lei more against the same period of the previous year or up by 2.6 per cent.
„As much as 811 million lei was accumulated in the mandatory health insurances accounts, which is by 24.5 million lei more against the same period of 2020 or up by 3.1 per cent,’’ reads a press release by the Fiscal Service.
