Moldovan parliament speaker conveys message on Martisor Day

Chisinau, 1 March /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii today conveyed a congratulatory message on the occasion of the Martisor Day, the parliament’s communication and public relations general department has reported.

The message reads:

„The Martisor is our special holiday, which was born from our authentic legends. Yet, due to the gifted people, who love their Motherland, the Martisor wend beyond Moldova’s borders and reached the furthest regions of the world.

The uniqueness of this Moldovan tradition made Martisor to be included in the list of UNESCO’s intangible heritage. So, two tender threads were weaved into a big history of our country’s culture and the world’s culture!

Dear friends, on the occasion of 1 March, I convey you my sincerest wishes of health, goodwill and flourishing. No matter where you are, enjoy everybody this wonderful holiday, a mild spring and a long life!’’
