Photo exhibition dedicated to master Eugen Doga launched in Chisinau

Chisinau, 1 March /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau city hall today inaugurated a photo exhibition, dedicated to the 84th anniversary of Master Eugen Doga, who celebrates his birthday on 1 March.

Attending the event, Chisinau mayor Ion Ceban said that Master Eugen Doga, having reached a venerable age, is an example of optimism and dedication in everything he does.

Author of the exhibition, journalist Eugenia Tofan said she has worked for several years with the distinguished composer and even accompanied him on several official visits abroad.

The exhibition includes 200 photos from different periods of the artist's life and activity: as an academician, on stage, in concerts, playing various instruments, abroad.

The exhibition will be open for a month, so that all those who visit Chisinau City Hall can admire it.

Master Eugen Doga is an Honorary Citizen of Chisinau and the author of the city's anthem. He was born on 1 March 1937 in Mocra village, Râbnița district.
