Martisor International Music Festival inaugurated at online music show

Chisinau, 2 March /MOLDPRES/ - The 55th issue of the Martisor International Music Festival was inaugurated on 1 March evening, without physical presence of audience, given the evolution of the epidemiological situation in Moldova.
According to the Education, Culture and Research Ministry (MECC), the National Symphony Orchestra of the TeleRadio Moldova Public Company, the Symphony Orchestra of the Serghei Lunchevici National Philharmonic, the National Orchestra of the Chisinau-based Organ Hall, the Choir Academic Chapel Doina, the bands Brio Sonores, Zdob si Zdub, Acord and more beloved singers and artists performed at the inaugural concert titled, Margaritare (Pearls).
The Martisor International Music Festival – 2021 is held on the period 1-10 March and will contain more online musical shows, organized by MECC, in cooperation with the Moldova-Concert Concert and Impresario Organization, Serghei Lunchevici National Philharmonic, Maria Biesu National Theatre of Opera and Ballet and the Organ Hall.
The music shows will be broadcast by the Moldova 1 public TV station and the TV channel Moldova 2 and will be also broadcast online on the Facebook pages of the concert organizations.
