Several villages in Moldova to have status of spa resort

Chisinau, 4 March /MOLDPRES/- Several localities in the Republic of Moldova will get the status of spa resort. MPs voted today in the final reading a bill in this regard.
Under the document, the status of spa will be given by government decision. At the same time, they will be proposed by the local councils, with the consultation of the citizens of the targeted locality, under the unitary technical norms adopted by the government.
The draft also aims at the economic and social development of the localities in the country, in order to rationally exploit and sustainably use therapeutic mineral substances. It also requires the development of tourism in villages and towns.
