Personal exhibition by Moldovan fine artist opened at Organ Hall

Chisinau, 4 March /MOLDPRES/ - A personal painting exhibition by fine artist, teacher at the Alexandru Plamadeala Fine Arts College Sergiu Badragan has been recently opened at the Chisinau-based Organ Hall.
Contacted by MOLDPRES, Sergiu Badragan said that the exhibition comprised 41 works made starting from 2005 so far. ‘’This is a spring exhibition. Still life paintings, landscapes, compositions, associative works are exhibited,’’ the author of the exhibition said.
Sergiu Badragan was born in Chisinau on 18 March 1960. He finished the fine arts school for children from Calarasi (1975), Alexandru Plamadeala Fine Arts College (1979) and the Ion Creanga State Pedagogical Institute from Chisinau, the specialty of painting, graphic and pedagogy, in 1988.
Sergiu Badragan made more works of landscapes, still life and portraits. He inaugurated personal exhibitions at the Mihai Eminescu National Theatre, Petru Movila Book House and Constantin Brancusi Exhibition Centre. Badragan participated in group exhibitions in Italy, Romania, Ukraine and other countries. His works are preserved in private collections from Moldova, France, Italy, Lithuania, United Kingdom, Romania, Russia, Spain and USA. He has been member of Moldova’s Fine Artists’ Union since 2001 and member of the UNESCO International Association of Art (2004). He was awarded the Special Prize for the Eye Witness exhibition, provided by the Sergiu Grossu International Culture Centre (2006).
The exhibition will be opened till 28 March.
