Term of dwellings' privatrization might be extended in Moldova

Chisinau, 4 March /MOLDPRES/ - The people who live in dwellings liable to privatization, according to the law on the privatization of dwellings’ fund, will get right to turn them private till 31 May 2024. The parliament today approved a draft law to this effect in the first reading.

The draft on amendment of the law on dwellings was submitted by a group of lawmakers of the ACUM Faction, Dignity and Truth Platform, and to become law, it is to be adopted in the second reading.

The authors say that the draft was worked out at a request by more citizens, who have right to dwellings’ privatization; yet, for objective reasons, they are in impossibility to exercise this right till 31 May 2021, just as the law sees.
