Chisinau, 4 March /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today had a new round of consultations on possible ways of overcoming the political crisis, the presidential press service has reported.
The head of state discussed with more opinion formers, as well as specialists in constitutional law about the best solutions which might lead to the de-blocking of the situation and holding snap elections. The participants in the discussion, for their part, set forth their opinions and recommendations for Moldova’s getting out of the political crisis.
„All those present at the discussion agree that the country needs snap elections, a parliament with responsible MPs and a stable government, which is to cease the schemes and get Moldova out of the crisis,’’ Maia Sandu said.
The president thanked the participants for recommendations and involvement. ‘’I am resolute to defend the interest of the citizens up to the end and presently the people’s interest and will are an honest and responsible government and a parliament which represents them, not the one which is subordinated to corrupt groups,’’ the head of state said.
