Moldovan pupils on spring holiday

Chisinau, 5 March /MOLDPRES/- Pupils went out today for spring holiday. It was supposed to last four days, but due to the epidemiological situation caused by the new coronavirus, the spring holiday was extended until 15 March.

According to the Ministry of Education, the recovery of the hours will be carried out with the physical presence of the students, according to an individual schedule, established by the administration of each educational institution.

The ministry urged parents to give children extra attention and warmth during the holidays. "We all want healthy and smart children and we must do everything in our power to always see them that way," warns MECC.

The vacation time in the academic year 2020-2021 was established by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research in the framework plan for primary, secondary and high school education. According to the plan established at the beginning of the study year, it was to last four days (March 5-8). The next planned holiday is Easter, for ten days (May 1-10).

Over three hundred thousand pupils are studying in educational institutions in the country.
