As many as 350 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 8 March /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 1, 281 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 350 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which four import ones. As many as 195,602 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 19 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians - 6, medical assistants –5 and auxiliary staff -8.

As many as 4,121 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized, of whom 323 are in extremely serious condition (71 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 11,811 persons are treated at home with easy forms of coronavirus and 18,205 are under supervision at home.

Another 912 people have been treated. As many as 172,242 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 18 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 4,129 people have died of coronavirus in all.
