Moldovan university professor celebrates 65th birthday

Chisinau, 9 March /MOLDPRES/- University professor Valeriu Dulgheru, PhD in technical sciences, honorary member of the Academy of Technical Sciences of Romania, holder of the Labor Glory Order turned 65 today.

He was born on 9 March 1956 in Cârpești, Cantemir district.

Valeriu Dulgheru is a member of the Expert Commission of the National Council for Accreditation and Certification, member of the Committee of Evaluators of the journal Robotics and Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Cambridge Unniversity Press Elsevier Editorial System (2012) , member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Control Science and Engineering, USA (2015).

He is an honorary doctor of the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași (2015), an honorary member of the Romanian Academy of Technical Sciences. Author of over 700 articles published in newspapers and magazines in the country and abroad, author of over 20 books on the history of the nation. He signed 52 monographs, textbooks and guides and about 580 scientific publications. He has participated in 70 international exhibitions. In 1998, Valeriu Dulgheru was awarded the State Prize and in 2015 - the Labor Glory Order. Holder of over 200 international awards, gold, silver and awards medals.
