Number of COVID-19 cases increases in Chisinau kindergartens

Chisinau, 9 March /MOLDPRES/- In Chisinau, there is an increase in coronavirus diseases in preschool children.

Deputy mayor of Chisinau Angela Cutasevici said at today's online meeting of the municipal services that on 5 March there were 733 preschool children in isolation and 71 educators confirmed positive for coronavirus.

At the same time, the official said that more than 300 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in municipal educational institutions. "As of 5 March there were 283 sick students, of which 152 new cases. There are 197 new cases among teachers. 2,244 students are in self-isolation ", Cutasevici said.
