As many as 5,066 people vaccinated against COVID-19 in Moldova

Chisinau, 9 March /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 5,066 people have been immunized against COVID-19 in Moldova since the beginning of the vaccination campaign. Data to this effect was presented on a governmental platform launched by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS).

According to the quoted source, all information on the vaccination against COVID-19 in Moldova will placed and could be accessed on the platform https://vaccinare.gov.md/. Updated figures on the number of people vaccinated, information and materials for the residents and mass media will be presented here.

The vaccination campaign started in Chisinau on 2 March. The process was initiated with a consignment of AstraZeneca vaccine, donated by Romania.

So far, 195,602 people infected with COVID-19 have been registered in Moldova, of whom 4,129 died.
